Informed consent is an important ethical principle in healthcare and counselling. It involves giving clients key information about the counselling services they will receive, helping them know what to expect. This process allows clients to make educated decisions about therapy. In your first session, your therapist will explain the key parts of informed consent and will revisit these topics regularly to ensure you understand them throughout your therapy journey.

Most extended health insurance plans cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor. After your session and payment, you'll receive a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. It's best to check your specific plan to see if you can claim the session costs, as coverage may differ.

At Reverie Therapy, we understand that unplanned circumstances may arise. Our late and cancellation policy is designed to respect both the therapists’ time and our client’s commitment to their therapeutic journey.
Cancellation Policy: Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee equal to the full session rate.
Late Policy: If a client arrives late for their appointment, the session will still end at the originally scheduled time, and the full session fee will apply. We encourage clients to arrive on time to make the most out of their session.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
